keiver.dev is a personal website and lab. It is built to respect your privacy by default: it sets no cookies, runs no advertising, and does not track you across the web. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. By using the site you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Information We Collect
We do not ask for or collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or phone number) unless you voluntarily provide it, for example by emailing us through a link on the contact page.
To understand which pages are read, the site records only aggregate, non-identifying information about each visit (described in the Analytics section below). This data cannot be used to identify you.
2. Analytics
The site uses GoatCounter, an open-source, privacy-focused analytics tool. GoatCounter is cookieless and is designed not to collect personal data. For each pageview it records only:
- the path of the page you viewed and the referring URL;
- your browser and operating system, and a rough country derived from your IP address;
- screen size, to gauge how the layout is used.
GoatCounter does not store your IP address and does not build a long-term profile of you. It cannot be used to follow you to other websites. For details, see the GoatCounter privacy policy.
We no longer use Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, and no data is sent to those services.
3. Cookies
This site sets no cookies and does not use local or session storage to identify or profile you. Nothing about your visit is stored on your device for tracking purposes, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to opt out of.
4. Hosting and Server Logs
The site is served as static files by its hosting provider, which may keep standard server request logs (including IP addresses) for a limited time for security and operational reasons. These logs are not used to track or profile visitors and are managed by the hosting provider under its own policies.
5. Your Rights
Because the site collects no personal data through analytics, there is generally nothing about you for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have contacted us directly by email, you may, depending on your location and applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), request access to, correction of, or deletion of that correspondence. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us at contact@keiver.dev.
6. Third-Party Links
Pages here may link to third-party sites such as GitHub, the App Store, or Google Play. Once you leave keiver.dev, any information you provide on those sites is subject to their own privacy policies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or practices of third-party sites.
7. Children's Privacy
The site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
8. Data Security
We use static hosting with industry-standard transport security (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but because the site collects no personal data through analytics, there is little to no personal information at risk.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes. Any changes take effect when posted, and the date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page. Please review it periodically.
